Spider-Man ™ 3 Swings into Action at Burger King ® Restaurants this Summer Promotion Offers Opportunity to Bring the Excitement Home
Spider-Man will swing into BURGER KING ® restaurants across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) this summer with an exciting Kids Meal promotion to celebrate the release of Spider-Man ™ 3. Beginning May 2, 2007, with the purchase of a Kids Meal at BURGER KING ® restaurants, children will be able to take home toys inspired by the characters in the movie including Spider-Man, Venom and Sandman. ^
With a line-up of toys that include “Web Crawlin’ Spidey,” “Menacing Venom,” “Fury Fists Sandman,” “Mask of Spider-Man,” “Stick to it Spidey,” “Stamp Stompin’ Venom,” “Stick ‘n Go New Goblin,” “Spin ‘n Roll Sandman,” “Two Suits of Spidey,” and “Spidey Web Shoot,” Burger King is letting families re-create the excitement and fun of Spider-Man 3 at home.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Spider-Man swing into our restaurants this summer,” said Yasser Abdel Azim, Director Marketing and Business Development of BURGER KING ® franchisee First Food Services L.L.C. in UAE. “Over the years, Spider-Man has been an inspiration to young children as a superhero who does good deeds and fights against villains. BURGER KING ® restaurants will bring this image to life at restaurants in the UAE while kids can enjoy their favourite BURGER KING ® meals.”
In Spider-Man ™ 3, based on the legendary Marvel Comics series, Peter Parker has finally managed to strike a balance between his devotion to M.J. and his duties as a superhero. But there is a storm brewing on the horizon. When his Spider-Man suit suddenly changes, turning jet-black and enhancing his powers, it transforms Peter as well. Under the influence of the suit, Peter becomes prideful and overconfident and he begins to neglect the ones he cares about the most. As two of the most-feared villains yet, Sandman and Venom, gather unparalleled power and a thirst for retribution, Peter’s greatest battle is the one within himself. Spider-Man will need to rediscover the compassion that makes him who he is: a hero.
